Tips for Optimal Usage

• The Fret Pro app functions optimally with an acoustic or electric guitar with an amplifier. It is also compatible with unamplified electric guitars and basses in quiet environments.
• The app recognizes correct notes, but you can add excitement by practicing different picking patterns, techniques, and rhythms.
• Feel free to use your favorite effects and pedals such as delay, reverb, or distortion. The app will still recognize if you play the right notes, although pitch modulating effects may not work.
• Challenge yourself to visualize the fretboard in your mind as you play each note. Can you play without looking at your instrument?
• Make use of the String Focus setting to concentrate on specific strings until you have them memorized.
